Stunning Original photograph of the bambino taking a break in the dugout sometime during the 1920's. This immaculate sepia toned photo measures 5" x 6.75" and displays extremely well in the PSA/DNA large holder. There are no creases to speak of and only one small imperfection (a small white dot) in the upper left quadrant. The reverse is yellowed and there are two small remnants at the bottom that appear to be where tape was once removed. A stoic Ruth sits in the dugout with his arms behind his head in support. One can only imagine that Ruth was pondering how he would outsmart the pitcher(s) of the day in front of him. Encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA Type 1.
