This is the one and only example we’ve ever seen of this 10" square linen handkerchief featuring a baseball shaped logo at the center with "Pennant Chicago White Sox 1919". The patriotic red, white, and blue borders with stars at the corners were unassuming at the time of production but would take on an ironic quality the next year, when the details of the World Series scandal were revealed. Lower left corner of the linen has some fraying, otherwise the condition is very fine. EX.
