Presented is a historic ticket stub from the clinching Game 6 of the 1917 World Series held on October 15. The Chicago White Sox won that game 4-2 against the New York Giants to win the series 4-2. Chick Gandil drove in two runs with two hits and Red Faber outdueled Rube Benton to help the Sox secure the championship. The ticket is in an SGC holder. It exhibits wear at the corners and edges, a light stain at the bottom right, and some heavy creasing that traverses the center.
