This OAL Johnson baseball is signed by 22 members of the 1917-18 Detroit Tigers team, which includes Ty Cobb (HOF), Sam Crawford (HOF), Harry Heilmann (HOF), Hughie Jennings (HOF / light), Ralph "Pep" Young, Owen "Donie" Bush, Bob Jones, Robert Veach, Oscar Vitt, Frank Walker, Edward Spencer, Ben Dyer, WH "Bill" James, Harry Coveleski, George Harper, Howard Ehmke, George Cunningham & Jimmie Burke (coach), etc. The ball is mildly & evenly toned, with the stampings being bold & strong, with the signatures ranging from "2-8" in strength, and it grades in Vg/Ex to Excellent condition overall. Team signed baseballs from this time period are tough to find, and this one comes with a full-service LOA from James Spence Authentication.
