In 1915 one of the game's greatest hitters would be traded from Cleveland to Charles Comisky's Chicago squad. They would later become known as the infamous Black Sox in 1919. Very few players would end up transcending the game the way Joe Jackson did. Shoeless Joe was one of the foremost hitters of his time, a .356 batting average and 1,772 hits marked a 12 year shortened career. The eye appeal of this card is stunning in every aspect, with four sharp corners, flawless registration and bright, bold color. The centering is near dead on and the back is clean and bright. This is a magnificent example of one of the toughest high grade singles in the hobby.
