Offered is an incredibly brilliant example of Ty Cobb's phenomenally appealing 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folder issue, shared with Detroit teammate George Moriarty. Apart from sharing the same dugout and the 1909 AL Pennant, both men had in common a penchant for stealing home base. Incredibly, Cobb did it 54 times in his career, and Moriarty 11. This card should warrant premium consideration for its incredibly low-pop status. Nicely registered images with tremendously bold lithography are contained within a sharp NM/MT or better perimeter. Centering, with just a sliver of space at the bottom border, is the reason for the MC qualifier. Only 4 examples graded NM-MT PSA 8, with nothing graded higher. Only 329 out of over 7,100 T202's graded by PSA have reached a NM-MT rating or higher.
