Honus Wagner sent this postcard from Philadelphia, Pa. to his future wife Bessie Smith on July 30, 1912 the same in which the Pirates beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 in a 10-inning game at the Baker Bowl. Wagner has addressed it to "Bessie Smith Crafton, Pa." and writes, "Hello B., I took a trip down to see the water Sunday. Did you get my last postal? My best to the folks." He has signed it "J.H." in his classic ornate script. It is written and addressed in dark black ink entirely in Wagner's hand. Postcard front pictures an Atlantic City, N.J. beach scene with sand sculptures and the fames Steel Pier in the background. This postcard originates directly from the Honus Wagner Estate. Signature and writing rate 9/10 with postcard FR-GD with some staining. Slabbed "Wagner Estate Postcard" PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC.
