Offered here is a high quality card of Ty Cobb in his prime, one of vintage-cardboard's most distinguishable cards, and the main one in the 1911 Turkey Red Tobacco cabinet-card set. It is also one of the most unique and identifiable Ty Cobb cards out there. This example is bright and crisp, with bold colors, excellent centering, and flawless registration. The only flaws are wear on the corners (more so on the lower right), a touch of paper loss on the lower left corner of the reverse, and a few tiny surface marks to the right of Cobb's foot. The checklist back (with offer) is clean. This is a very appealing example of the #9 Ty Cobb card, with a great grade to boot. The classic Turkey Red set is often seen as one of the most quality, well-made tobacco sets ever created. The T3 Ty Cobb has always been and will always be in high demand, particularly such a card as this one.
