Diamond Gum pins have long been recognized as one of the rarest and most desirable of all early baseball pinback sets. In fact only one complete set of all twenty-nine known Diamond Gum pins is known in the hobby. This is an outstanding example of the key Ty Cobb pin featuring him in the very same pose as appears on his famous T206 portrait card. The pin has some typical light toning but these are seldom found in this condition. The original back paper on the reverse is intact and advertises "Get A Collection of Ball Player's Buttons Free With Diamond Gum." Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Pin measures 7/8 inches in diameter.
