Super rare 1911-16 T216 MINO Cigarettes (Glossy) card has very strong color with an outstanding quality picture of Hall of Famer Eddie Plank, as a member of the St. Louis Federal League team in 1915. Plank won 21 that year and finished 2nd in the League in ERA and shutouts. Nicely centered. Several creases but not one that breaks the paper surface on the front. Corner wear seems to be the main problem. Back is clean with some erased pencil markings at the top being the reason for the (MK) qualifier. Only one card rated higher by PSA, however it may not be a MINO, as they do not distinguish between the 3 brands - MINO, Kotton, Virginia Brights in their population report. They are all lumped together under the T216 People's Tobacco heading. A very eye appealing card of Hall of Fame pitcher Eddie Plank from an extremely difficult card issue.
