Offered is an eye appealing high grade Cy Young on his portrait example from the 1909-11 T206 set. The pitcher boasts three cards in the massive set and is considered one of the toughest hall of famers to find in high grade. This offering has been graded an SGC NM 7 and according to the firm's consensus, this is the highest awarded assessment and there are only two total copies in this grade. This card has become nothing short of a hobby classic and the offered copy is one of the best we've ever seen here at SCP Auctions. Crisp white borders, razor sharp corners and an immaculate colorful image of the winningest pitcher to ever step on the mound are all on display. Verso has some ink blotching from the Piedmont print. Overall eye appeal is really nice on this copy.
