Slight diamond cut on this 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel Christy Mathewson grade PSA VG-EX 4. This is an exceptional mid-grade example of one of Matty's most classic cards. Due to the thin stock on which they are printed, these cards are rarely found in high grade. This example of Mathewson has a far superior appearance than suggested by its technically accurate mid-grade. Color and registration are strong with some light surface soiling present. Overall a very attractive mid grade card from an exceptionally tough E set.
