The extremely rare and desirable E90-1 American Caramel card of the legendary Joe Jackson is one of only a handful of cards of Joe Jackson issued during his playing days, and is indisputably recognized as Joe Jackson's rookie card. In recent years the E90-1 American Caramel Joe Jackson has become universally recognized as one of card collecting's most valuable and famous vintage-card rarities. Even the few times that sets of E90-1 have been offered in recent years, more often than not, it is really a set minus one card: Joe Jackson. This card dates from extremely early in Jackson’s career, when he was a member of Connie Mack’s Philadelphia A’s. Jackson played only ten games with the Athletics before Mack traded him to Cleveland. This unique example has been given a grade of fair PSA 1.5, mainly due to minimal paper loss on the reverse. The front of the card exhibits good registration and bright color, along with nice centering. A couple of minor creases leave the visual eye appeal unaffected. This is a tremendous card, and represents an extraordinary opportunity for the collector who wants a very attractive E90-1 of Jackson at a far more affordable level than a higher-grade example would most certainly cost.
