Ty Cobb appears on a few different cards in the T206 set, but his portrait with the red background is by far the most striking. The young star’s dignified gaze and grey Detroit jersey is set off by the bright backdrop, making this one of the most sought-after cards in the hobby. This Sweet Caporal Cobb red portrait features bright borders and excellent color, which enhances the vibrant red background. The Sweet Caporal back displays nicely with no defects. If one had to point out any flaws, it would be that the corners are rounded, likely the reason for the PSA VG-EX 4.5+ grade.
