Presented is a rare Carolina Brights back of Oscar Stanage from the 1909-11 T206 baseball set. Currently PSA has graded 579 Oscar Stanage cards but only seven are confirmed with a Carolina Brights brand. Graded EX 5 by PSA, this stands alone as the highest graded example for this brand and is the sole place holder in that ranking as well. A very low pop for this brand and a really tough card that belongs in any serious vintage collection. The particular copy in question has snow white borders, a vibrant green background and a crisp image of Stanage. The centering is favored 65/35 right to left and fairly even top to bottom. Three sharp corners and one soft top left corner are reason for EX 5 grading. The main attraction is that elusive Carolina Brights back.
