SCP Auctions July 2008 Internet Auction

Nice group of the rare W555 cards with all having some of the original candy box present and many being cut outside the recognized black borders and oversize when compared to the Standard Catalog 1 1/8" by 1 3/16" dimensions. . All have the original rounding at one corner from the box they came on. Each card has a rough edge at either top or bottom from the original owner's removal from the box. We sent in the Jones to see what PSA would do and it came back an VG-EX "4". We felt it did not do justice to a crease free card 1/8" or more oversize all the way around to be called VG-EX so we had it changed to AUTHENTIC. Players are: Brown(HOF) - full black border present with crease across center, Collins(HOF)(LIght uniform) - full black border present with crease across upper left corner, Delehanty - full black border present with very light back crease that does not show thru to front, Donovan - Crease free but about 1/8" sliver of black border missing, Dooin - full black border present with soiling to front of card, Dygert - full black border present with crease across upper right corner and couple of small areas of what look like caramel/candy, Evers(HOF) - full black border present with crease across center, Jones - full black border present, Phillippi - full black border present with small crease across upper left corner, Wagner(HOF) - couple of very light surface wrinkles, one front, one back. Rough edge along about 1/2 the length of top border. Card still displays very well.
