The die-cut figures issued by Mayo were intended for use as part of a baseball game. Nine position players for each team three different runners and two umpires made up the set. The offered GEM MINT PSA 10 example is the only one so graded and one of only a handful of 19th Century cards to attain perfection. The back contains an ad for Mayo and instructions on obtaining a "base grandstand and teetotum" to use with the figures.
