Some of the most beautiful cards ever made, the 1888 Allen & Ginter World's Champions issue features full color lithographs on white paper stock. Hall of Famer Commiskey was a good player, but even a better manager, leading the St. Louis Browns to 4 straight American Association pennants from 1885-88. He also was the first owner of the Chicago White Sox and one of the founders of the American League. Lesser grade example still has appeal.
