Very nice GD PSA 2 card of outfielder Harry Lyons and the Philadelphia Trainer, Billy Taylor from the beautiful 1887 N690 Kalamazoo Bat tobacco issue. Interesting to note that Lyons only played one game with Philadelphia in his career, that game being in 1887. Kalamazoo Bats are extremely difficult to find but very popular among collectors for their large size and actual photo design. The offered card displays better than the GD rating. A very clear photographic image. Good centering, about 50/50 side to side and 60/40 to the top. Clean front with some minor soiling on the lower back corner. A 1 1/4" crease across the upper left corner along with a small triangular piece of surface missing at the top center are the main reasons for the given technical grade. The only one ever graded by PSA with just 2 graded by SGC(one VG-EX SGC 50 higher).
