Very nicely matched group from the very beautiful 1887 N28 World's Champions Allen & Ginter tobacco issue.
1) John Clarkson(HOF) PSA 2 GD - Card presents EX+ from the fairly clean front with an unimprovable color picture image. Only reason we can figure for the "2" grade is a miniscule amount of paper and teaxt loss to the reverse. Almost unnoticible. A ton of eye appeal.
2) John M. Ward(HOF) PSA 2 GD - Another amazing beauty, from the clean front appears EX-MT with the same unimprovable color picture image as the Clarkson. Back is the same with an incredibly difficult to spot tiny area of paper and text loss. Another ton of eye appeal.
3) Capt. Jack Glasscock PSA 5 EX - Not the beauty of the two Hall of Famers above but fairly clean front with decent color and image. About EX corners. Super clean back.
4) Charles W. Bennett PSA 4 VG-EX - Standard VG-EX card with very strong color and image. Crease free with corner wear and some moderate soiling front and light on back.
The look of the two Hall of Famers FAR EXCEEDS the given technical grade.
