Buck Ewing, an early inductee into Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1939, spent most of his 18 year career playing for New York teams. He was the 1st catcher elected to the Hall, serving as Captain of the 1888 and 1889 World Champion New York Giants. Always a fan favorite, Ewing finished with a lifetime .303 average. Strong color and image result in good eye appeal for this early chewing tobacco issue. Clean card both front and back.
