Nice, clear batting pose of Darby O'Brien, left fielder of the Brooklyn Trolley Dodgers, with much better than average corners for the issue. Very clean both front and back. O'Brien spent his entire 6 year career with New York and Brooklyn area teams. He would be the 2nd leading hitter on the 1889 Brooklyn team which would end the 4 year domination of the American Association by the St. Louis Browns.
