Offered in this lot is a colorful pair of Kobe Bryant’s 2012-13 game-worn and dual-autographed sneakers. "The Black Mamba" averaged 27.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 6 assists and played in all but four games for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2012-13 campaign.
These Nike 'Kobe VIII' sneakers have been photomatched to the Lakers' December 28, 2012, home game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Kobe tallied 27 points along with five rebounds and four assists in a 104-87 win. Kobe autographed each of the Nike logos on the shoes with a silver permanent marker. The autographs pop off of the black Nike logos for excellent eye appeal. The Nike 'Kobe VII' shoes feature a purple sole and yellow lace holes to match the Lakers' uniform colors. The inner Nike tagging shows "SP13" denoting the Nike release date of spring of 2013. The Promo Sample pair was issued only to Kobe before release to the public.
The shoes are accompanied by a photo-matched letter from Sports Investors Authentication and Beckett LOA for the autographs.
