The first matchup between veteran legend Michael Jordan and legend in the making Kobe Bryant came in the December 17, 1996, game between Chicago and LA. The game became memorable for another reason besides the meeting of the two greats – a bench clearing brawl. This photograph captures Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen as they try to restrain teammate Dennis Rodman, with Scottie looking like he is about to take a tumble. Interestingly BOTH Jordan and Pippen are wearing Air Jordan 12s which are clearly visible in this shot. The photo has been printed to the edges and displays light edge wear. The reverse has the Fujicolor paper hallmarks, a “File-Sports” stamp, and “Jordan, Michael” handwritten in pen. The photograph measures 8” x 10” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA.
