In his first two big league seasons, Clayton Kershaw appeared in five post-season games and had two starts, but had yet to record a win. In Game 1 of the 2013 NLDS against the Atlanta Braves, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ ace got off the schneid with a dominant performance on the road. The southpaw went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out 12, as the Dodgers cruised to a 6-1 victory at Turner Field. Presented here is the actual jersey Kershaw wore for his first career playoff win, verified by its MLB Authentication hologram (EK 387863). The gray button-down jersey has “Los Angeles” across the chest in Dodger blue with his No. “22” in red. The back has “KERSHAW” and “22” stitched in blue directly on the Cool Base fabric. The lower front tail has the “Majestic Authentic Collection size 50” patch. Within the collar is a gray strip tag with “22 Kershaw 50 2013” stitched in black. The right sleeve has the MLB 2013 Postseason patch and the left sleeve shows the interlocking LA logo. The jersey exhibits excellent game use, still reeking of the sweat produced by Kershaw’s 124-pitch outing. You can’t get more authentic than that. Rare opportunity to own an important gamer from the 2014 MVP and 3-time Cy Young winner who will likely end up enshrined in Cooperstown. This exact jersey sold for $18,960 in 2014.

MLB Authentication # EK 387863.
